Silconate K D.P.C

Description

A Potassium Methyl Siliconate fluid supplied in concentrate form which when diluted with water as specified is used to create a chemical damp proof course in walls above ground level where an existing DPC has broken down or an orthodox DPC is missing.


Packaging		4 & 25 litre containers of concentrate. Dilute for use as indicated.

Ultracure

Description
Unique water based gel for the treatment of rising damp

BBA approved.
No need for electric pumps on site.
Cartridge gun or compression pump application.

WYKAMOL'S Third generation" DPC formula is a ready to use, water based and water soluble thixotropic gel which diffuses naturally into damp substrates. After injection, Ultracure reacts to form a water repellent silicone resin network within the capillaries of the substrate. This network is permeable to water vapour which means that the walls can "breathe" and dry out naturally. The formulation is not reliant on alkalinity for effective curing. Ultracure can be used effectively to treat brick, stone and other substrates. Ultracure is available in 1 litre cartridges or 5 litre tubs.

Brunopel IWP

Description
WYKAMOL Waterproofer

First Coat

Mix 3 parts sand to 1 part cement.
Mix gauging water with Brunopel IWP at 30-1 ratio as specified.
Add minimum amount of gauging water to dry mix to ensure a dense coat. An approximation of not more than 8 litres per 50 kilos of dry mix should be used, as a guide.
Render the surface to give an overall thickness of between 10-15mm ensuring that the mix is compacted into the joints. Scratch to form a key when the cement obtains its first set. Do not overtrowel.

Second Coat
This mix is as for the first coat applied to give an overall thickness for two coats of about 25mm. Apply this coat before the first coat has finally set in order to obtain satisfactory adhesion between the rendering coats. Scratch the surface to form a key. Do not overtrowel.

Micro FWS Concentrate

Description
A water-based biocide solution (ie. contains no Aromatic / Hydrocarbon / Glycol Ester Solvents) supplied in concentrate form, dilutable with water, for the eradication of dry rot and fungal growth. The active ingredients are Benzalkonium Chloride and 2-Phenyl Phenol.


Composition		contains NO Aromatic/Hydrocarbon/Glycol Ester Solvents

Coverage		10 litres of diluted fluid will treat approx 1 cubic metre of masonry

Dilution		1 part concentrate with 24 parts clean water

Packaging		1 litre plastic containers

Wykabor 10

WYKABOR 10 Surface Biocide
WYKABOR 10 is a ready for use solution of 10% Disodium octaborate and 2% active Alkydmethylbenzyl ammonium Chloride blended with water and special carriers (water soluble).

Uses

As a surface biocide for the sterilisation of fungal growth such as dry rot
To sterilise and prohibit the growth of mould in kitchens and bathrooms
To sterilise the growth of mould, algae and lichen on brickwork, masonry, tiles and plasterwork

Coverage

Brush 1 litre to 6 - 8 m²
Coarse Spray 1 litre to 4 - 5 m²
Irrigation 2½ litres per m2 for 230mm (9") brickwork or 10 litres per m³

Microtech Woodworm: Microtect Woodworm Concentrate Description A water based insecticidal fluid supplied in concentrate form, dilutable with water, for the treatment and prevention of insect attack. The active ingredient is Permethrin. Product Data Coverage 1 litre diluted product per 4 sq mts of wood surface. Packaging 1 litre plastic containers. Drying Time under normal conditions surface dry in 2 to 4 hours. Flash Point non-flammable in both concentrate and diluted form. Storage away from food and direct sunlight.


Microtech Dual Microtreat Dual FI Concentrate Description A water based fungicide/insecticide fluid supplied in concentrate form, dilutable with water, for the treatment and prevention of insect attack and to give protection against dry rot and wet rots during the drying out period after the elimination of the source of dampness. The active ingredients are Permethrin and Boric Acid. Product Data Coverage 1 litre diluted product per 4 sq mts of wood surface. Packaging 1 litre plastic containers. Drying Time under normal conditions surface dry in 2 to 4 hours. Flash Point non-flammable in both concentrate and diluted form. Storage away from food and direct sunlight.

Basement conversions Aquastop Tanking HEY'DI K11 / AQUASTOP TANKING Description The material achieves a strong and lasting waterproofing of sound and mineral surfaces against dampness, groundwater and hydrostatic pressure. HEY'DI K11 Slurry is characterized by high adhesive strength, it can be stressed shortly after application and prevents efflorescence. It is inorganic, non-toxic, nontainting, unaffected by U.V. and does not contain any metal attacking substances. Uses For negative side (inside) waterproofing against dampness in buildings and structures of all kinds (eg. basements, underground garages, under arches, rising damp). Also for positive side (outside) waterproofing of structures. Packaging HEY'DI K11 - 25kG Moisture proof sack. Bonding Agent - 2Kg, 5Kg, 30Kg packs Coverage 3Kg K11 + 0.25 Kg Bonding Agent per Sq Metre. eg. 1x 25Kg bag of K11 plus 2Kg of bonding will cover 8 SqM with 3 coats.

Wykamol Range of Cavity Drain Membranes Wykamol produce a wide range of membranes, designed to cope with a variety of structures and waterproofing problems. Wykamol CM8 Wykamol cm 8 is a cavity drain membrane and is manufactured from high density polyethylene (PEH). It is impermeable and resistant to the usual chemicals in the building construction. Standard roll size is 2.07 metres by 20 metres ( 42m2). Wykamol 8 is a high density polyethylene membrane incorporating 8 mm studs which allow the creation of a continuous drainage pathway for water in basement floors and walls and/or the isolation of damp walls above ground level. The dry surface created allows rapid project completion via dry lining and screeding or timber floor finishes. Wykamol 8 has the following properties: Stud height 8 mm, drainage volume 5.5 litres/m2 Sheet thickness 500 _m, density 0.5 kg/m2 Excellent low and high temperature stability 120 kN/m2 load bearing capacity High durability and water resistance

KONTACT MESH PLASTER Dimpled sheeting with plastic mesh welded on, suitable as a damp-proof base for plaster Kontract Mesh is a high density polyethylene membrane incorporating 8 mm studs which allows the isolation of wet walls above and below ground. Incorporates a tough HDPE mesh lathing welded to the front face to allow the direct application of various plaster finishes or adhesive 'dabs' and plasterboard. Also suitable for use on floors above ground to be screeded or in conjunction with Kontract 8 below ground. Note: in basements where the walls are particularly wet (running water) we recommend the use of Kontract 8 on walls and floors (see separate data sheet). Kontract Mesh has the following properties: Stud height 8 mm, drainage volume 5.5 litres/m2 Sheet thickness 600 _m, density 0.7 kg/m2 Excellent low and high temperature stability 150 kN/m2 load bearing capacity High durability and water resistance

WYKAMOL CM 20 Wykamol CM20 is the highest drainage capacity membrane in the CM range giving a void volume of 14 litres/m2. Suitable for use on floors and walls in very wet situations or where the large stud height is desired to maximize insulation values. When used on floors CM20 can normally be installed without the need for perimeter drainage channels and, when overlaid with concrete, the large diameter studs will give high point load resistance capabilities (150 kN/m2) to support load bearing walls built off the slab.

WYKAMOL GEOTEX Wykamol Geotex is a multi-layered cavity drain membrane designed to prevent ground water penetration in any situation where internal walls are below external ground level (up to 10 m depth). It is designed for use on the outside of the building on vertical elements prior to back-filling. Geotex comprises: Layer 1 A flexible 'slip membrane' to allow movement in relation to the substrate without damage to the primary waterproof coating: Layer 2 The cavity membrane with 8 mm studs giving ample strength and drainage capacity : Layer 3 A geotextile mat to prevent soil particles blocking the cavity and/or drains. In most cases Geotex is designed to be used with Technoseal DPM as a primary foundation waterproof coating. In all cases it is essential that Geotex is installed in conjunction with AquaDrain - a perforated ground drain acting as a conduit for removal of drained water

WYKAMOL SLIMLINE FLOORING TECHNOSEAL DPM Applications Floors: Under/above screeds to provide a damp proof membrane. Basements: As part of a waterproofing system beneath ground level. Walls: Can be used under render or plaster as a water barrier or vapour barrier. Tiling: As secondary protection under tiles in wet areas e.g. bathrooms, food processing areas, balconies, etc. Water Storage: The membranes perform well in our tests even when continuously immersed in water. Silage Storage: The membrane protects concrete from silage attack.
